Paying someone to search the Tea App? How to spot a fake before you pay
Last checked September 2026 · Covers Tea App search services
We tested one with a photo of a dog
No name. No face. Just a dog. We uploaded it to one of these instant search sites and waited.
A few seconds later it came back with possible matches. Blurred thumbnails, a match count, and a checkout button to reveal them.
The dog is not on the Tea App. Nobody has warned anyone about him in a Facebook group. Which tells you exactly what those blurred results are: a sales screen, not a search. It shows everyone “matches”, because the matches are what gets you to pay.
No bot can see inside the Tea App or a Facebook group
AWDTSG groups are private. Posts are visible to approved members only. Facebook's terms ban collecting data by automated means, Meta shuts down accounts that do it without warning, and it has taken scraping companies to court.
The Tea App only lets verified women in. There's no public search, no profile pages, nothing a program can quietly read from the outside.
So when a site promises an “AI scan” that finishes in seconds, ask yourself one question: where did those results come from? Not from inside. There's no such thing.
Would you trust your reputation to a robot that found matches for a dog?
The only way to reliably check is the slow way: a real person, searching by hand, step by step — the right city, the right group, your name, your photo, the comments under other posts. That takes hours, not seconds. Anyone promising otherwise is selling you the feeling of an answer.
7 signs a search service is a scam
Any one of these is a reason to close the tab. Two or more, and you already know.
| Red flag | Why it gives them away |
|---|---|
| Results in seconds | A real search of a private group or the Tea App takes a person hours. |
| Blurred matches, pay to reveal | The oldest trick there is. The blur is the product — there's nothing sharp underneath. |
| “AI”, “database” or “live feed” | Nobody can legitimately run a bot or keep a copy of posts from inside. |
| A trial or a subscription | You need one answer, not a monthly charge. Reddit is full of men who found one on their statement. |
| No proof of where they looked | “Nothing found” means nothing if you can't see they actually searched. |
| A guaranteed removal | The platform decides what comes down. No one can promise it. |
| No refund terms, no contact, no privacy policy | You're handing them your name and your photo. Know who has it. |
What a real check looks like
Use this as the test for any service — including ours.
-
A person does it, by hand
Someone who can work through the Tea App and the AWDTSG group for your area, post by post. You should be told plainly that it's a person, not a program.
-
It takes hours, not seconds
They need your city to find the right group, and your name and photo to search properly. A believable turnaround is measured in hours.
-
You get proof of the search, not just the result
Screenshots and screen recordings of where they looked — including the places that came back empty. That's the only way “you're clear” is worth anything.
-
One price, shown before you start
No trial, no subscription, nothing blurred behind a paywall.
-
Refund terms in writing
What happens if they're late, or can't reach your group — stated before you pay.
-
Your photo is deleted afterwards
They should say so, and say when.

- Cancel any subscription on the site, and screenshot the cancellation.
- Call your card provider if you were charged for results that were never real. Tell them what you were shown.
