Is there a Tea App for men? What guys can and can’t see
Updated October 12, 2026 · Not affiliated with the Tea App or AWDTSG
- There’s no men’s version. The Tea App only verifies women.
- There’s no men’s login or men’s search. The app and the website sit behind the same sign-in.
- Google can’t see it either. Posts never show up in a search for your name.
- Apps with similar names are different apps. None of them shows you what’s on the Tea App.
- You can still find out. Someone has to look for you, and show you proof.
Why guys end up searching for this
It usually starts with one sentence. A friend says, “I think you’re on the Tea App.” A date mentions she “looked you up.” Or a match goes quiet and you start to wonder.
So you do the obvious thing. You go looking for the app, to see for yourself. And you find out there’s nothing there for you to open.
That’s by design. The Tea App was built so women can talk about the men they date without those men reading along. Which leaves you with a simple question: what can a guy actually see?
What a guy sees when he tries
| You try | What happens |
|---|---|
| The Tea App website | A sign-in screen. Nothing is public, and there’s no men’s login. |
| Signing up in the app | Sign-up only verifies women. A man doesn’t get through. |
| Googling your name | Nothing. Posts sit behind the sign-in, so Google never reads them. |
| A reverse image search | Nothing. It only matches photos on public pages. |
Here’s the trap: an empty result feels like good news. It isn’t news at all. It only means you were looking from the outside.
“Male Tea App” and “Tea App for guys” apps: what they really are
Search the phrase and you’ll find apps and websites with “Tea” and “men” in the name. It’s easy to think one of them is the men’s side of the Tea App.
None of them is. They’re separate apps, made by other people. None of them can show you what women have posted about you on the Tea App.
Be just as careful with any site that offers an instant “men’s search” of the Tea App. No tool can search it automatically. If a site hands you an answer in seconds, nobody looked.
So how does a guy find out?
You can’t look yourself. Someone else has to. Here’s how to do it properly:
-
Write down what a search needs
The name and photos on your dating profiles, and the cities you’ve dated in over the last few years. Posts are found by face, first name and city, not by a username.
-
Have someone look for you
Either a woman you trust, or a service that searches by hand. Skip anything that promises results in seconds: no tool can search the Tea App automatically.
-
Ask for proof, not a summary
Screenshots of the exact wording, the direct link to each post, and a list of where they looked, including the places that came back empty.
Nobody you’d want to ask? That’s the most common reason men come to us. A real person can search the Tea App and the AWDTSG groups covering your area for you. Here’s how a private Tea App search works, or start your private search.
The Tea App isn’t the only place to wonder about
The same thing happens in the “Are We Dating The Same Guy” (AWDTSG) Facebook groups. There are 182 official AWDTSG groups in the US, with more than 6.8 million combined memberships. They’re women-only too, and just as invisible from the outside.
And that’s only the official ones. An independent count using Facebook’s own group search in October 2026 found 2,012 groups of this kind, with 14.8 million memberships (people in several groups count more than once). 87% are private, so only members can see the posts.
How likely is it that you’re in one of these places? Across the hundreds of searches we’ve done by hand, about 7 in 10 actively dating men we searched turned up in at least one post. Many posts are only a question: “Anyone know him?”
And a clean result counts too. Most men just want to stop wondering.
Common questions about the Tea App for men

No. The website sits behind the same verified sign-in as the app, and that check only approves women. There is no separate men’s login.
Not directly. Posts are only visible to signed-in members and never show up on Google. Someone has to look for you: a woman you trust, or a person who searches by hand.
